Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you spent the day spreading love to all the special people in your life. Although holiday festivities are coming to an end, you can definitely stretch the v-day vibes into this weekend. I’ve rounded up some of the best activities this weekend for you to spend time with those you love while doing something fun.

Lake Home & Cabin Show

If there’s anything all Minnesotans share, it’s our love of lakes and cabin life. This weekend the Convention Center is hosting the Lake Home & Cabin Show where you can check out cabin furniture, talk to experienced realtors, and get your hands on resources to get you closer to your cabin dreams. Tickets are $12/person and the show runs all weekend.

The Dinner Detective

Okay, I have to admit, I had never heard of this before, but now that I have, I think it’s SO fun. Basically, this is an interactive comedy show, where you are trying to solve a murder case alongside the other guests while also enjoying a 4-course meal. It seems like such a great way to laugh, dine and make memories with your loved one or friends. Tickets are selling quick, so check out their site to see more info!

Twin Cities Restaurant Week

This Sunday marks the beginning of Restaurant Week here in the Twin Cities, a.k.a. my favorite time of year. It’s the perfect excuse for me to try trendy places and new dishes that I haven’t before. There are more restaurants than you can imagine that are participating, but the common trend is lunches for $10-25 and dinners for $15-35. Check out this full list of places that you should visit this week.

Pizzazz Comedy Event

This Sunday at 8 pm, Bauhaus Brew Labs is hosting a comedy show featuring several of MN’s best acts. The tickets are $20 and get you a pint & admission to the show. I don’t know about you, but a Sunday night spent laughing with a cold beer in my hand sounds good to me!

I hope that at least one of these made their way into your weekend calendar. I know that I will definitely be participating in Restaurant Week, maybe multiple times if I’m being honest. Let me know if you try any restaurants or foods that are to die for!
